The competition begins on Tuesday, 23 May at 11:00 and ends on Tuesday, 30 May at 23:59.

Submission Rules & Guidelines

  1. The video must clearly show the entrant's face, with space visible on each side of the shoulders and above the head. The entrant must be visible at least halfway down their torso.
  2. The video must be at least 20 seconds long and not exceed 5 minutes in length.
  3. Entrants must explain their favourite feature of the Barestep Actives within the video.
  4. The Barestep Actives product must be showcased within the video.
  5. Entrants must also include a separate video showing the Barestep Actives product being worn on feet.

Rules

Eligibility:

  1. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
  2. Entrants must have a public social media profile, since the video will be shared publicly.
  3. Entrants must be residents of countries where your product is available, unless prohibited by law.
  4. Employees and immediate family members of Barestep Actives or its affiliates are not eligible to enter.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Entrants must submit a user-generated content (UGC) video showcasing and talking about their favourite feature of Barestep Actives shoes. The video should not exceed 5 minutes in length.
  2. The video must be the entrant's own original work and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity.
  3. Videos with explicit content, promoting harm or violence, or not adhering to community standards will be disqualified.
  4. By submitting a video, entrants grant Barestep Actives a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost, share, use for promotional purposes, display, and distribute their submitted video in all media now known or hereinafter created.

Selection and Notification of Winner:

  1. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges from Barestep Actives based on creativity, originality, adherence to the theme and overall quality of the video.
  2. The decision of the judges is final and binding.
  3. The winner will be notified via direct message on the social media platform where they submitted their video. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 48 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

Prizes:

  1. The winner will receive R5000 and two pairs of Baretep Actives in their specified size and colour. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the sponsor's sole discretion.
  2. The video must be submitted and upload to Barestep.

Other Rules:

  1. Entrants agree to abide by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of Barestep Actives, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this giveaway.
  2. Barestep Actives reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that it determines, in its sole discretion, is not in compliance with these rules.
  3. The giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
